Contract Provides More Access in NJ Communities to Quality Treatment Services and Behavioral Health Facilities
TOMS RIVER, N.J., May 1, 2023: In its continuing effort to render treatment services more accessible and affordable, The Counseling Center is proud to announce the expansion of its provider agreement for commercial and Medicare Advantage network participation with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey ("Horizon") and is now a participating provider at all of its ten New Jersey locations, including Middlesex, Toms River, Cherry Hill. Clark, Monmouth Junction, Robbinsville, Roxbury, and West Caldwell, effective 05/01/2023.
The Center will now provide in-network substance use disorder and mental health treatment services for Horizon commercial and Medicare Advantage members at all its state-of-the-art New Jersey facilities. "We are excited to expand our relationship with Horizon to make our mental health and addiction services more accessible to those in need," said Stephanie Zitani, MS, LAC, LCA, Executive Director of The Counseling Center.

With a team of experienced professionals and state-of-the-art facilities, The Counseling Center provides individualized treatment services to its clients, and the Horizon agreement enables the company to strengthen its strategic goal of going in-network with more insurers to deliver high-quality services to even more individuals in New Jersey who are seeking help with substance use and mental health disorders while controlling patient costs.
Horizon commercial and Medicare Advantage members will be covered for the full range of addiction treatment services across the Praesum continuum in New Jersey, including inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, detox, mental health services and medication-assisted treatment.
